The Future of Work
The situation with employment is dire, and I live in Georgia, where supposedly jobs are so abundant. I am lucky enough that I can work from home. I watch my friend's children so that she can work. I have a son who is nearly 18, and neither he nor any of his friends work or drive. To thrust them into the work force at this point just takes jobs away from families who need it worse than these boys do, and to put them behind the wheel raises our insurance rates. The world is indeed a very different place. I have to find a delicate balance between keeping my son out of the military without allowing him to become a bum.Posted 06-14-2010 at 09:15 pm by Medusa72
