It very well may have been a hoax, but certainly not for the reasons that Joe Rogan is suggesting. He does not realize that the USSR and the USA were controlled by the same people...so his failure to realize that simple fact allows him to believe that there was actual competition going on between the two "sides".
No doubt, but most people have no idea of the grand deception going on so of course they will come up with their own interpretation of why. I will say it fits right in with all the rest of the scam the Jews have tried to pass off to the gullible goyim.

Observations from Chile show that Sedna is one of the reddest objects in the solar system, nearly as red as Mars.

Yes the Sumerians seemed to know many things they should had no way of knowing they described our solar system down to the colors and appearance of the planets over 5,000 years before there were telescopes...
The Anunaki were supposedly here to mine Gold they needed it to restore the atmosphere of their home planet. Quite a tale for ancients to come up with... Unfortunately the leading authority on this subject is a Jew... One Zecharia Sitchin.... Nasa has been looking for the 10th planet (12th to the Sumerians) for some time now, they can supposedly see the effects of it's gravity in the movements of the other planets... But who knows it could all be a Jewish psy-op too :^)
What if the whole Sumerian tale is one big lie. In some of my research I know that they teach the earth is much older than it really is - they ridicule catastrophism although the evidence is everywhere to include major floods - If the Anunaki were here to mine gold they sure left alot of it behind with no evidence of mining, what about other metals? The Father of Geology, Lyell? his methods for dating the earth's age was completely shown to be extremely misleading according to many researchers. Just throwing some things out there---

I have not watched Alex's vid yet nor Soctt's response to it so if I am repeating something here forgive me. Just some more thoughts - Sometimes the most logical explanation (easiest) is the correct one. Whys: Why would they destroy the old world through revolutions to create a one world empire if it is all going to be destroyed anyway. Why bother with most of the Protocols (re-read them) like tearing down Christianity - Why would they care about having all the gold (Maybe the Annuki was the Summerian name for the Jew) Why the desperate attempts to push evolution? Why would they care what a soon to be destroyed people's belief system are? I think that the reality is that they are insane - I think my signature post (spoken by Echart) is right on the mark - Once more if it walks like a duck ...... I believe 2012 and other "mysteries" are in place, as someone already mentioned, to take one's eyes off the reality of the situation - We are dealing with psychopaths who actually believe they do god a favor by destroying the world.
