The hunt is on for a Berlin police officer who was pictured on Facebook giving a Nazi salute, sparking outrage across Germany.

The image, which officials believe to be genuine, was posted on the social networking site to mark a remembrance day for the victims of a series of neo-Nazi murders.

Police fear a Nazi-sympathiser movement may be developing within the ranks as the man is wearing what appears to be an authentic uniform with the Berlin police badge on the right arm.

An investigation has now been launched by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution in an attempt to track down the rogue officer.

Between 2000 and 2007, nine foreign-born food vendors and shop owners, were murdered by a far right group known as the known as National Socialist Underground or NSU. (They were actually JEWS posing as Whites)

At first police wrongly assumed they were mafia or drug-related killings

The truth was only uncovered three months ago after two members of the gang committed suicide following a botched bank robbery. (They were probably murdered)

Officers recovered neo-Nazi items alongside a film showing the victims' bodies set to montages of a Pink Panther cartoon character.

Yesterday Chancellor Angela Merkel gave an address before 1,200 guests at Berlin's Concert House where she apologised to the victims’ families.

She said: 'The murders of the terror cell were an attack on our country.

They have brought shame upon our country. The background to these murders lay hidden for far too long. That is the bitter truth.

These years must have been a never- ending nightmare for you. For this I beg you for forgiveness.

Making the salute or displaying any symbols of the old Nazi regime is considered a serious crime in Germany and is punishable by up to two years in prison.

The picture was posted on the Facebook site of a self-confessed racist identified as Marco B from a small village in Bavaria.

Beneath the picture he writes: 'You call it freedom and tolerance. I call it a death dance for Europe.

You talk of a multi-cultural state. For me it is only about white betrayal.

the article stated "outrage across germany" - HA!!! that statement instantly brought me back to the time when i was a teenager reading the (unknown to me) jew run indoctrination newspapers and i would think to myself 'i don't feel that way and 10 people i know don't feel that way' - just more media BS. the jew knows it is losing the truth war, so they need to bring out this type of thing to vilify right minded folk.
i feel pity for the cop (if indeed he was law enforcement) because surely he will be caught (or a scapegoat) and made to pay with who knows what. whats the chance of that dude saying yeah, he was the guy in the pic and he's not sorry??

Isn't it rather odd to anyone that someone would want to arrest a person for a salute? I think the Jews are assholes! Too bad 6 million did not get killed during the Holohoax.

According to some of the comments on that site, the man doing the Roman salute is wearing an outdated police uniform. Maybe this is why I didn't even hear about the whole thing on the news.

Germany's parliament has followed the government in lodging applications with the country's supreme court for a ban on a far–right party accused of encouraging hate crimes.

Germany's parliament has followed the government in lodging applications with the country's supreme court for a ban on a far–right party accused of encouraging hate crimes.

The applications by both lower and upper houses to ban the National Democratic Party was filed early today with the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe, court sources said on condition of anonymity.

Parliament's lower house presented its case against the party, known by its German initials NPD, this week. It argued that the party has a "clear affinity" with Nazism.

The government submitted its bid in January. The triple application, although not legally required, is meant to show politicians' united front against a resurgence of violent neo–Nazis.

The lower house's documents cited "an abundance of historical sources that show the NPD has a clear affinity with Nazism," racist ideology and aggressive rhetoric. It belittles Nazi crimes and has a "merely tactical relationship to legality," the documents said.

The NPD, although it gained hundreds of new members last year, remains electorally insignificant. But the government and parliament insist that a ban is needed to bar it from facilities such as television advertising and state campaign funding.

If the supreme court accepts the motions, the government expects it to hear the case next year.

Postwar Germany has only banned two parties: a successor to the Nazis in 1952 and the Communist Party in 1956. The party must be proven not only to reject the German constitution but also be found to have violent tendencies.

Government statistics this month showed far–right offenses in Germany surged to their highest since World War II, up nearly 60 percent from 1999. Violent crimes with a far–right, anti–Semitic or anti–foreigner motivation – ranging from robbery to murder – jumped by 34 percent.

Concern over the past year at a surge in neo–Nazi violence has spurred the government to pledge a crackdown on the far right and to call for ordinary Germans to stand up for the victims.

I wonder how many deaths Zionist flooding of that country with Auslander has caused? I personally knew of 5 people that were friends of the family killed in two separate incidents involving robberies of stores, both committed by Muslim gangs in one of them they killed a cop as well.
