It was his race for President. We both had been active in the Populist Party back then. I was Ex. Director for NC at the time and David was always a potential candidate. He announced his candidacy for President as a Democrat, however, down in Georgia on the 20th anniversary of the deadly assault on the U.S.S. Liberty: June 8, 1987. I was there; even got tricked into leading the assembled in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Months later, the -controlled mass media had still managed to entirely shut out any news of Duke's candidacy. When I learned in early October that Jesse Jackson was going to announce his candidacy for POTUS, also as a Democrat, in my hometown, on 10/17/87, I told David he didn't have a hair on his ass if he didn't show up on that date to confront Jackson and the media. I told him I'd take care of all details and he would just have to show up and be David Duke. We had two weeks to pull it off. He thought about it for a minute or two, said, "You're right!," and accepted the challenge. He definitely demonstrated he had plenty of "hair on his ass" in the events that followed. He showed true physical courage.
BTW, unfortunately, I can't quite say the same for his moral courage. David is not a Xian. He just plays one for his constituents, like most politicians do. He knows most voters like it that way. On the other hand, he wants to make sure I know he is not, that he really believes as I do. I'd rather he be more honest with his followers. I understand politicians have to try and please the most people when appealing to their electorate. Such is democracy, and why it has to go. I was talking about the site giving a mixed message about Truth by allowing our beloved Xians' supernatural "truths" to steer things. I'm "One-Note Willy" on that subject, if you hadn't noticed.

There's only one proven way to control the divisive religious shism within the greater pro-White movement: The Xian patriots have their site and disallow contrarian biological racists -- this could describe most race-oriented sites presently -- and, then, have at least one site for biological race-thinkers who want no Xians or Muslims or Jews or non-Whites of any stripe in our midst. They would be of the determined resolve to rebuild protective barriers to alien domination, both racial and spiritual.
Presently, to my knowledge, there are no sites that fit the latter description. None. That's the void that will be filled. That's the unapologetic, monolithic pro-White movement apart that Dr. Pierce had staked out. He was careful to not allow any Xian message to creep into our affairs. He didn't "personally attack" Xians, but, like Mr. Hitler, he simply didn't allow it to ever show its ugly head in our ethnocentric domain. He identified Xianity in our Members Handbook -- five pages worth -- as an ideology opposed to that of our National Alliance. All that was squandered by Dr. Pierce's rogue successor who quickly removed those five pages and went Xian-friendly, "big tent," though not to the extent of FT's policy of "ANYONE and EVERYONE saying anything they want."It's your site, so you can have whatever policy you want. I was spoiled by Dr. Pierce. We were intent on organizing strictly from among those who agreed with us, not from the ones, the Xian ones, who disagreed and called us "Satanic" or "cultists," or "atheists." That type is already quite well-organized against a strictly biological movement for White renewal. We can't expect those who put Jesus first to go along with our program, denying Jesus, any more than we'd try to organize from among those who called us "haters," or "Holocaust®-deniers." Superstitious Xians will queer things every time.
It wasn't made clear, but I quoted Obadiah and was addressing what he had said here: "Truth being said Scott, I thought this was a Christian based site and you were because of the "t"s in forbidden truth being crosses..."
You must admit, there is a LOT of stuff at FT that frames the struggle as Jew vs. Xian. That tends to turn the more serious, advanced truth-seeker off. They look for Xian nonsense specifically, and move on when they detect it.
I think the point I was trying to make is that lots of guests might get the same false impression that Obadiah got, that FT is a Xian-based site, unless it's made clear that it's not. I don't invite my friends who think a lot like us here because they'd say, "Jesus Fuckin' Chreerist! Here we go again..."

What UV stated about him and others not being able to express their opinions will eventually happen but the other way around. I am not talking about this forum only but the movement at large. Either out of fear or embarrassment people who are faith based will keep their mouths shut or just leave.
Unvarnished is a smart man on certain perceptions for he does know that separation will definetely have to happen sooner or later, especially before we put down our pens and pick up our swords. Many two demensional members on this forum say we believers are narrow minded and our beliefs are not grounded in reality as if we are a bunch of simple minded baffoons, as if we have not proven to ourselves over and over that our God does exist and Christ is his son - As if we just want to believe simply because it makes us feel fuzzy and warm inside - We were raised that way (I was not, were you?) and we simply must expel the poison that has us not thinking clearly. All our experiences stem from self delusion and this coming war is not spiritual (how stupid) played out in the physical - oh and once more we are no better, no, lower than Jews not to mention dangerous - Seriously, can it get anymore insulting? Am I promoting division? UV is correct (my hat goes off to him for his honesty) - It's inevitable. A believer must have Christ as his center to do otherwise is denying his reality - the opposites cannot have that and regardless how they, and we, say we can all put our differences behind us (which we can.... for now) the time will come for separation and anyone who believes differently believes just to make himself feel warm and fuzzy. Please tell me, am I wrong? I really hope I am but I doubt it.
